Pink Bar Graphic "I was recently introduced to the decks by friends in Sheffield. However, I rapidly discovered that this beatmacthing malarky is a bit of a pain in the arse. Since I'm a southern jesse, I decided to see if there was any way i could cheat my way out of it. Fortunately, some clever germans had come up with a performance/production tool called Ableton. Problem solved!

Of course, the benefit of letting the software deal with the syncing, is that you can be much more creative with your mixing. Layering, looping, sampling and effects can all be used to drastically alter the feel of the music.
